Electric snow groomer

During Easter 2021, we were the first in Scandinavia to test an electric snow groomer.

The test was successful and the drivers were satisfied. This led us to acquire the first electrically powered snow groomer, which is now in operation.

In the long term, the plan is to replace a large share of our snow grooming fleet with electric machines, but as a good start we have replaced all fuels in the snow groomers with renewable fuels.

Reduced emissions

A diesel-powered snow groomer emits the equivalent of 15-20 passenger cars of carbon dioxide. By switching from fossil fuels to renewable fuels in all our snow groomers, we have reduced our climate impact in our operations by 67% in Sweden. Read more about renewable fuels.
