Hovde Syd opens Christmas 2025
A family-friendly expansion of the skiing at Vemdalsskalet is taking shape. Stage one of Hovde Syd will open for Christmas 2025 and will offer a red and several blue slopes, as well as a family-friendly park!
First phase
The first phase comprises a ski area totalling 11 hectares with a red main slope in the upper part of the area and several blue slopes and a family-friendly park in the lower part. A ski lift takes you easily up to the top.
Together with a modern snow production system and lighting on the main slope, this provides excellent conditions for great skiing throughout the season and more space for our guests to enjoy!
Snow Park and Fun Ride
A family-friendly Snow Park is planned, featuring simple elements and jumps.
In addition, a Fun Ride will be built with jumps, rollers and banked turns – designed for both children and adults.
