Join us for a weekend full of running joy, nature experiences and challenges for both young and old. Unfortunately, Trysil Trail 2025 had to be cancelled, but we're already looking ahead to the big trail running adventures in 2026!

Welcome to Trysil Trail

Fageråsen becomes the mountain’s meeting point for all who love trail running – whether you're a beginner or an experienced runner.

The Races

Choose from various distances and enjoy nature’s transitions – from mountain peaks to forest trails.

Day 1

  • Uphill Race – a fast and intense challenge for those aiming straight for the top.
  • HOKA Kids Run – for young runners who want a taste of real trail running.
  • HOKA Trysil 4 K – a shorter distance suitable for both beginners and seasoned runners.

Day 2

  • HOKA Trysil 14 K – a mid-distance race that blends challenge with running joy.
  • HOKA Trysil 24 K – for those looking to push their limits and feel a true sense of achievement.

Accommodation and Registration

SkiStar Lodge Trysil is the event’s hub, offering comfortable facilities and a vibrant atmosphere. Trysil Trail by HOKA is organised in collaboration with Marathongruppen – an experienced team ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all participants.

Registration opens in August.

Stay at SkiStar Lodge Trysil - the runners' hotel

SkiStar Lodge Trysil is the high mountain hotel where nature is your closest neighbour and a pleasant atmosphere prevails. During the Trysil Trail Run, the lodge is transformed into a real runners' hotel with daily “after runs”, product tests and well-deserved relaxation in Kulpen Spa & Sauna.

Eat well at Norway's best mountain hotel

In Trysil you will find, among other things, Norway's two best mountain hotels, the Radisson Blu Resort and SkiStar Lodge Trysil. Both hotels offer a great selection of food and beverage experiences, ranging from authentic Italian espresso to large buffets and American hamburgers. In addition to the hotel restaurants, Trysil has a wide range of dining options, which you can access without having to take off your skis. Breakfast, lunch, après-ski and dinner in the evening.

Mountain holiday in Trysil

SkiStar Trysil is best known as Norway's biggest ski resort, but during the summer it transforms into one of Scandinavia's greatest cycling destinations with over 170 km of close-to-nature cycling for all levels. There's also hiking, a climbing park and river activities, as well as an adventure park with fun and games for the whole family.

Kulpen bath and sauna

Warm up with a hot bath and sauna at Kulpen SPA after a fast-paced day in the mountains. Here you'll find indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools and four different saunas.

Trail running in the mountains

Sweet children have many names - trail running refers to short and good running on nature trails. In this particular case, it applies to nature trails in the stunning Scandinavian mountains.
