Skutskjutet in Åre

On 18 April, the legendary Skutskjutet returns, a fast-paced downhill race for all levels and an Åre classic celebrating its 50th anniversary. Get ready for excitement, community spirit and lifelong memories!

About the race

Skutskjutet in Rödkullen is Scandinavia’s largest downhill race. With 21 start categories, there is something for everyone, from beginners to veterans, and participants of all ages. The event is a festival for the whole family.

Team competition for all

Bring friends, family or colleagues and join the team competition for 3–5 people. The three best times count and everyone can contribute. The day ends with an awards ceremony and a big outdoor après-ski.

Race numbers and late registration

Pre-registration for Skutskjutet 2026 is not open. You collect your race number at SkiStarshop Hanson. Note that late registration is not possible on race day.

Once registration closes, you can see the start list. Results will be uploaded after the race.
